Drinking Water Kiosk RFI

The City of Philadelphia (the “City”), acting through its Water Department (PWD), is exploring the development of a program to install public drinking water kiosks (fountains) in locations throughout the city. To further this objective, PWD is seeking proposals from qualified providers detailing how best to offer a public drinking water kiosk program, proactively maintain the infrastructure for such a program, and finance the program in such a way that benefits the City, PWD’s ratepayers, and the provider.
PWD encourages all entities that may be interested in collaborating with the Department on a drinking water kiosk program to prepare a response to this RFI. PWD intends to use this information to plan for and identify sufficient resources for such a project. Responses to this RFI are considered non-binding, and will be used to assist the Department in performing information gathering for planning purposes.

Housing First is an approach to quickly connect people experiencing homelessness to permanent housing without preconditions and barriers to entry, such as sobriety, treatment or service participation requirements. The Office of the City Treasurer is seeking responses to this request for qualifications (“RFQ”) in order to select firms to serve as senior and co-managing underwriters with respect to certain City of Philadelphia (the “City”) General Obligation Bonds (“GO”), Other Tax-Supported Bonds (“OTS”), Airport Revenue Bonds (“Airport”), Philadelphia Gas Works Revenue Bonds (“PGW”), Water and Wastewater Revenue Bonds (“Water”) (collectively the “Bonds”) and Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes (“Notes”).

The City of Philadelphia (City) is interested in utilizing City-owned facilities and public right-of-ways (PROW) to facilitate the implementation of small cell and distributed antenna systems (DAS) throughout the city. To further the City’s objective, the City posts this Request for Information and Qualifications (RFIQ) to seek information regarding "best practices" and proven approaches in all critical subject matter areas required for successful installation, and management of small cell and DAS equipment to be located in the PROW and on City facilities. The City further seeks to identify vendors with the qualifications, including substantial experience and technical and financial capacity that are necessary for this initiative.
