2024 Rate Proceeding

On February 28, 2024, the Philadelphia Water Department filed Advance Notice of the Department’s proposed changes to its Tiered Assistance Program Rate Rider Surcharge rates (TAP-R), proposed to become effective September 1, 2024. On April 1, 2024, the Department filed Formal Notice of these proposed changes.

2023 Rate Proceedings

On February 22, 2023, the Philadelphia Water Department filed Formal Notices of proposed changes in water, sewer, and stormwater rates and related charges to take effect on or about September 1, 2023 and September 1, 2024, as well as its annual Tiered Assistance Program Rate Rider Surcharge rates (TAP-R) Adjustment Proceeding. The Rate Board issued its Rate Determination on June 21, 2023.
