WHAT: Citywide Fire Drill

WHO: Members of the Gillis family

Firefighters from Engine 64 and Ladder 20

All city residents

WHEN: Wednesday, October 11 at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Home of the Gillis family, 719 Knorr St., Philadelphia

The Fire Department will conduct a home fire drill with the Gillis family. The Gillis family will use their practiced home escape plan to evacuate the simulated fire event. Firefighters from Engine 64 and Ladder 20 will respond to the scene of the simulated scenario.

At 7:30 p.m., fire apparatus sirens throughout the city will sound to indicate the start of the citywide fire drill. All Philadelphians are urged to participate by putting their home escape plan to the test.
