Public Health Preparedness outreach brochures

The Department of Public Health‘s Preparedness Program Outreach Team aims to maintain an inclusive emergency response. We directly engage with communities, listen to what people say their needs are, and then provide preparedness information and resources to help address those needs.

We focus on communities that tend to be heavily impacted by an emergency. This includes:

  • People with access and functional needs.
  • People using languages other than English.
  • People experiencing poverty, violence, and other crises created by structural inequities.
  • Communities at the intersections of these groups.

Preparedness materials on a number of key hazards are available for download here. You can order free printed materials in many languages for your organization.
