GENERAL DEFINITION

The employee disseminates information about health services and health hazards and their prevention, takes samples to be tested for lead content and compiles data on the incidence of health hazards in the community.  Contact with individual residents and small community groups is a significant feature of the work.  Work is performed under the supervision of an administrative superior.
