ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN II


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is architectural technician work at the full performance level applying established architectural principles, practices and mathematical knowledges to the completion of assigned projects in support of architectural activities. Employees work with more independence than lower level technicians in completing architectural projects such as detailing, preparing standardized specifications, rendering drawings, plates and plans and completing related architectural assignments.

Work is performed under the general supervision of a technical superior. Employees in this class participate with architectural and engineering personnel in the completion of assigned projects.

Or any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by the Personnel Department that has included completion of the twelfth school grade and one year of post high school technical training at an accredited institute, junior college, college or university in architecture or architectural technology as an educational minimum.
