HIRING SERVICES ASSOCIATE 3


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is public human resources work at the advanced performance level in a hiring team in the City's central human resources agency. The employee in this class works as part of a hiring team and is responsible for performing public personnel work proficiently in all functions, including assessment and job design and compensation. The employee is expected to perform assignments in all functions with minimal supervision. The employee regularly manages or participates in projects involving revision, development and implementation of hiring process procedures, policies, and regulations. The employee works collaboratively with city administrators, union officials, employees, and the public to facilitate resolution of identified hiring issues.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

NOTE: A master's degree in human resources, industrial psychology, or closely related field may be substituted for one year of general experience.
