For 32 weeks between March and October, Faith-Based and Interfaith Affairs hosted Prayer Pauses for Philadelphia, short digital opportunities for contemplation, connection, and nourishment to sustain us during this difficult season of loss, uncertainty, and conflict.
We are so grateful to the local and national clergy, academics, activists, and spiritual leaders from Humanist, Unitarian Universalist, Muslim, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Buddhist, Bahá’í, and Hindu traditions who offered words of healing and hope for our community. Visit the Mayor’s Office of Public Engagement Facebook page to watch any of our 60 prayer pauses. We will resume them in 2021.
