For the past 83 years, the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA) has held a national conference, bringing local government attorneys together for educational seminars. At this year’s annual conference in Atlanta, GA, IMLA recognized three of our outstanding attorneys for their longstanding dedication to the practice of municipal law:

  • Valerie Robinson, Chair, Corporate and Tax Group
  • Edward Jefferson, Divisional Deputy City Solicitor, Code & Public Nuisance Litigation Unit
  • Rachel Castillo Rosser, Senior Attorney, Commercial Law Unit

Ed Jefferson and Rachel Rosser received the Brown, Mulligan, Rocha Distinguished Public Service Awards for their surpassing achievements in the field of local government law.

Valerie Robinson was awarded the James H. Epps III Award for Longevity of Service to a Community Award. This is a milestone award that recognizes the significant achievement of having the political and legal skills necessary to represent the same community for at least 30 years.

The International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA) is a non-profit, professional organization that has been an advocate and resource for local government attorneys since 1935.
