PHILADELPHIA – All City of Philadelphia offices will be closed and City services curtailed on Monday, May 27 in recognition of Memorial Day.

Trash and recyclables will not be collected on Monday, May 27. Residents who have collection on Monday should set out their trash and recycling for collection on Tuesday, May 28. Trash and recycling collections will be one day behind schedule for the remainder of the week.

All City District Health Centers are closed on Memorial Day as are the district offices of the Department of Licenses and Inspections (L&I); the L&I License and Permit Center at the Municipal Services Building; the Marriage License Bureau; all Philadelphia Parks and Recreation facilities; the Free Library of Philadelphia and all of its branches; and the executive offices of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, as well as its Violations Branch at 9th and Filbert streets. The Philadelphia Parking Authority also will not be enforcing meters, kiosks, or residential parking time limits on Memorial Day.

All Philadelphia Department of Prisons facilities will be closed to visitors on Memorial Day.

City offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
