FOURTH ANNUAL NASCAR XFINITY PHILADELPHIA TAKEOVER ROLLS INTO CENTER CITY FOR KICKOFF CEREMONY & DAY OF ACTIVITY ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 15
WHAT: Comcast, Pocono Raceway, Dover International Speedway and NASCAR are coming together for the fourth consecutive year to bring NASCAR to the city of Philadelphia. The NASCAR Xfinity Philadelphia Takeover will bring 17 drivers to the city to greet fans and promote the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series races at Pocono Raceway and Dover International Speedway.
The 17 NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers scheduled to be in attendance are: Justin Allgaier, Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe, Brandon Brown, Austin Cindric, Cole Custer, Chad Finchum, Joey Gase, Gray Gaulding, Noah Gragson, Kaz Grala, Brandon Jones, Vinnie Miller, Matt Mills, John Hunter Nemechek, Tyler Reddick and Zane Smith.
Wednesday, May 15
10:15 a.m.: Kickoff Activity begins…

- 10:45 a.m. kickoff press event at Comcast Center Plaza (1701 JFK Blvd.) featuring photo ops and autograph session with 13 NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers, Pocono Raceway, Dover International Speedway, NASCAR and Comcast executives. Mascots Swoop and Franklin. 76ers dunk squad. Race car demonstration with driver Tyler Reddick on JFK Boulevard. Drivers pose in front of race cars and board double-decker bus for procession tour of city. Also, a presentation of Mayoral Proclamation by City Representative Sheila Hess and special Military Ceremonial Oath of Enlistment will take place for friends, family and fans.
