PHILADELPHIA – The Love Run Half Marathon and 7K returns to Philadelphia on Sunday, March 31, 2019. The course will start on the 2200 block of Benjamin Franklin Parkway and end in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Today, the City released road closures, parking restrictions and other details for the 2019 race.
Road Closures
Temporary streets closures will be in effect along parts of the course to accommodate the Love Run Half Marathon and 7K. Motorists are advised to avoid the area by using alternate routes; allow for extra driving time in areas near the event; and refrain from double-parking, which creates congestion, limits traffic flow, and is illegal.

- Benjamin Franklin Parkway from 22nd Street to Eakins Oval
- Eakins Oval from Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art
- Kelly Drive from Eakins Oval to Fairmount Avenue
- Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from Eakins Oval to Montgomery Drive
The entirety of the Love Run Half Marathon and 7K courses will close at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2019. Roads will be reopened as they are serviced and cleared. All roads in Center City are expected to be reopened to vehicular traffic by 11:00 a.m. The 2019 Love Run Half-Marathon and 7K Course Maps can be found online.
Parking Restrictions
“Temporary No Parking” signs will be posted in connection with the closures listed above, with parking prohibited in posted areas on Sunday, March 31, 2019 between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Motorists must adhere to “Temporary No Parking” signs.
