PHILADELPHIA – All City of Philadelphia offices will be closed and City services curtailed on Thursday, November 22, in recognition of the holiday.

Trash and recyclables will not be collected on Thursday, November 22. Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams urges residents whose normal collection is on Thursday, to set out their rubbish and recycling for collection on Friday, November 23. Additionally, residents whose normal collection is on Friday, should set out their rubbish and recycling for collection on Saturday, November 24.

All City District Health Centers are closed on Thursday, as are all branch offices of the Department of Licenses and Inspections; the North and Northeast Municipal Service Centers; the Marriage License Bureau; all Philadelphia Parks & Recreation facilities; the Free Library of Philadelphia and all of its branches and the executive offices of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, as well as its Violations branch, at 9th and Filbert streets.

City offices will reopen on Friday, November 23, 2018.
