WHAT: 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Philadelphia Fire Department

Philadelphia Police Department

Philadelphia Prisons Department

Philadelphia Police & Fire Pipes and Drums

WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 11, beginning at 9:59 a.m.

WHERE: Procession departs at 9:59 a.m. from Fireman’s Hall Museum, 147 N. 2nd St., and arrives a few minutes later at the Betsy Ross House, 239 Arch St.

On the 17th anniversary of 9/11, the Philadelphia Flag Day Association hosts a remembrance ceremony at the Betsy Ross House that will include brief remarks from dignitaries and a memorial bell ringing. Rain location: National Constitution Center.
