WHERE: 3900 block of N. Reese Street

PFD members and their partners will install life-saving smoke alarms and distribute safety literature on the 3900 block of N. Reese Street, where a fire occurred on April 9.

The Philadelphia Fire Department received a $1 million grant from FEMA last year to install 30,000 smoke alarms in the city. If you know residents in need, ask them to contact Philly 311. The PFD also has adaptive alarms for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
