WHERE: 1100 block of Price Street

The PFD and its partners will distribute safety literature and install smoke alarms on the 1100 block of Price Street, where a house fire occurred on March 10 and one person died.

The Philadelphia Fire Department received a $1 million grant from FEMA last year to install 30,000 smoke alarms in Philly. If you know city residents in need, ask them to contact Philly 311. The PFD also has adaptive alarms for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
