WHERE: 800 block of N. Holly Street (between Brown St. & Westminster Ave.)

PFD members and their partners will distribute safety literature and install smoke alarms on the 800 block of N. Holly Street, where a fire occurred on Jan. 8.

The Philadelphia Fire Department received a $1 million grant from FEMA last year to install 30,000 smoke alarms in Philly. If you know city residents in need, ask them to contact Philly 311. The PFD also has adaptive alarms for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
