CITY PLANS UNIT

This division of the Bureau of Surveys and Design is the keeper of the official city plan.  They are responsible for maintaining these legal documents as a public record available upon request.

The Board of Surveyors are invested with the authority to confirm or reject all original plans or revisions of plans, that are made by direction of City Council by Ordinance, and are the primary design agency for the City of Philadelphia.
