Sanitation Convenience Centers are available for Philadelphia residents only.  Items accepted at these locations include:

                     a) Collectable rubbish, excluding construction materials

                     b) Recyclable materials

                     c) Computers, monitors, televisions, and other computer related equipment

                     d) Bulk items such as stoves, washing machines, refrigerators, etc.

                     e) Tires, limited to (4) per day.  Tires must be free of rims.

                     f) Yard Waste

                     g) Only the Northeast Convenience Center will accept #6 foam

                            -Foam, packing peanuts, food-service containers, plates, egg

                             cartons, and large molded block used to package electronics

City residents wishing to use the Sanitation Convenience Centers must show proof of Philadelphia residency at the center, must use a personal or passenger vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 6,000 pounds or less, and must have the refuse properly tarped, secured, or otherwise contained in such a manner as to prevent the refuse from being blown or scattered from the vehicle. No commercial vehicles (i.e. pick up truck) will be allowed to enter. 

Residents may also pick up a recycling bin at one of the Sanitation Convenience Centers (one bin per resident). Please call ahead for availability of recycle containers.  Please note, residents may use any sturdy container 20 gallons or less, marked with the word "RECYCLING."
