City of Philadelphia Advisory: Wednesday, February 10, 2010
In anticipation of the winter storm emergency, the City of Philadelphia will direct its efforts in ensuring that our roads and highways are cleared of snow and public safety and well-being is preserved. As a result, please be advised that all City offices will be closed to the public on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Those City of Philadelphia employees who are not required to work on the snow removal efforts, or required to ensure public safety and well-being, are strongly encouraged to not report to worktomorrow, to aid in the City's snow-removal efforts. Managers are being instructed to grant authorized leave to nonessential employees upon request.

Employees designated as essential for the removal of snow or the maintenance of public safety and well-being will be notified by their supervisor or manager that they are required to report to work. If you are unsure as to whether you are expected to report to work tomorrow, please contact your supervisor or manager.
