    Services Provided: GACM, a coalition of a dozen churches, runs a food pantry and offers help with rent, utilities, medical needs and the like. The Crisis Ministry staff evaluates the needs of people who come by referral or off the street, and follow-ups on the effect of the aid. GACM provides more than 40 food packages to NW Philadelphia families. In addition, the ministry expects to provide at minimum 100 Thanksgiving baskets to help out its neighbors. GACM provides a complete food package for a family of 3 or 4 to enable them to prepare 3 meals per day for three days.

    Services Provided: Episcopal Community Services helps individuals and families with multiple needs overcome the impact of poverty. The human service agency of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, ECS has served people of all faiths since 1870. Today the agency focuses on: helping families stay together, helping children and youth thrive and making communities stronger. Restorative Justice Ministries serves as a community resource, and also provides referral services, mentoring, and advocacy to incarcerated persons and former offenders.
