	PARTY FOR THE PARKS - December 2, 2004



	Fifteen park volunteers were honored by their friends group, Philadelphia Green, and the Recreation Department as the "Volunteer of the Year"


	Park group members Mark Krull and Olga Cuellar present Commissioner Victor Richard with a check representing the value of volunteer labor in the parks for 2004.

Facetta Garrison-Greene, Executive Secretary for the Recreation Department was presented with the Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award for outstanding contributions to neighborhood parks by the Steering Committee of Philadelphia Green´s Park Revitalization Project, represented by Paul Bonfanti.
