Three Bears Park was one of the dozens of neighborhood parks that took part in the 2004 Spring Into Your Park Project.

Coordinated by the Recreation Department and Philadelphia Green, the event took place on May 2, 2004.

Volunteers came out to clean and plant flowers, plants and trees in parks around the city.
