	Weekly Schedule of Sponsored Programs MONDAYS ADULTS WITH ACQUIRED DISABILITIES Meets from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., September through June. Activities include swimming, physical fitness, ceramics, art, special events and trips.The first Monday of the month is drop-in day. SPECIAL POPULATION BASKETBALL LEAGUE Ages 16 and over, league runs evenings, October through March. Uniforms are provided and a banquet is held at the end of the season. WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL LEAGUE Ages 16 and over, league play begins May and runs through August. TUESDAYS MENTALLY DISABLED YOUNG ADULTS Activities include arts and crafts, sports, game room activities, exercise room, trips, music and special events. Meets 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. October through June. WHEELCHAIR RACING TEAM Open to all boys and girls, ages 19 and under, with physical disabilities. The program runs from April through July from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There is no fee for the program and racing chairs are provided. The team participates in three or four racing meets per season. THERAPEUTIC MUSIC LESSONS Classes are held Tuesday evenings from October through June for all age groups. A nominal fee is charged for the program which includes a holiday and final recital. TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS NURSING HOME ACTIVITIES Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., October through June. Activities include arts & crafts, music, special events, and trips. WEDNESDAYS VISUALLY IMPAIRED ADULTS Meets weekly from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Activities include bingo, cards, music, luncheons, trips and ceramics. The season runs October through June. The first Wednesday of the month is a Drop-in Day. THURSDAYS THURSDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES This program features recent hit movies. The movie will start every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and will end between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. A nominal fee of 50 cents is charged per person. Movie Nite begins Thursday, October 7th. FRIDAYS MENTALLY DISABLED YOUNG ADULTS Group meetings from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. October through June. Activities include swimming, crafts, parties, sports, bowling, trips and game room. SATURDAYS MENTALLY DISABLED CHILDREN PROGRAMS Children ages 6 through 16 meet from October through June. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, music and parties.
