2007 GOLF CAMP

An Instructional Camp for Beginning Golfers.  Boys and Girls, Ages 11 to 15

Philosophy: To teach basic skills, to learn rules and etiquette and different types of scoring.

Local Golf Professionals provided by the PGA Philadelphia Section will conduct the clinics at the driving range. Staff will include local college players and high school players. 12 hours of lessons.

Week One—July 9 to July 13, 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Burholme Driving Range, 401 West Cottman Avenue

Week Two—July 16 to July 20, 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Burholme Driving Range, 401 West Cottman Avenue

Week Three—July 23 to July 27, 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Burholme Driving Range, 401 West Cottman Avenue

Week Four — July 30 to August 3, 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Umbria Street Golf Center, 7200 Umbria Street

Week Five - August 6 to Aug. 10, 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Cobbs Creek Golf Course, 72nd & Lansdowne

Maximum number of campers - 30 per week
Fee: $50.00 per week

Boys and Girls, Ages 7 to 10
Two sessions - Campers can only attend one session.

Burholme Driving Range
Week of July 2, 2007: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Only four days with extended times due to the July 4th Holiday

Session One - 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.; Session Two - 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.

Maximum number of campers - 30 per session.
All Golf Equipment will be provided.

Fee: $25.00 per camper (Money Orders Only)

Philosophy: To introduce the game of golf to beginners, to teach basic skills, to learn rules and etiquette and to have fun learning a game that can provide a lifetime of enjoyment.

Local Golf Professionals provided by the PGA Philadelphia Section will conduct the clinics at the driving range. Staff will include local college players and high school players.

Each participant will enjoy unlimited hitting at the driving range, all participants play miniature golf. Prizes and participaton certificates given to all campers.
