	2007 Lifeguard Training Classes 7^th updated list-May 10, 2007 Lincoln Pool, Rowland & Shelmire Streets, 215-685-8751-POOL WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURHTER NOTICE! Rhodes Pool, 29^th & Clearfield Streets, 215-227-4907-The next lifeguard course will begin Thursday, May 17^th. This course will be held Tuesdays & Wednesdays 5:30-10 p.m. No lifeguard remedial classes will be offered for this session. University City Pool, 37^th & Filbert Streets, 215-685-9099-POOL WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! Turner Pool, 59^th & Baltimore, (please contact University City Pool for any phone correspondence). A new lifeguard course began April 23^rd. This course will be held Mondays & Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. Lifeguard screenings will be held Monday-Friday 4:30-7 p.m. Marcus Foster Pool, Germantown Avenue & Staub Street, 215-685-9154 or 215-456-3107- A lifeguard course began April 23^rd. This course will be held Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:30-9 p.m. Pickett Pool, Wayne & Chelten Avenues, 215-685-2196- A lifeguard course began Tuesday, April 17^th. The course will be held on Wednesdays 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Saturdays 11:30-2:30 p.m. Sayre Morris Pool, 58^th & Spruce Streets, 215-685-1994- A lifeguard course will begin May 16th. Classes are held Wednesdays 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 12:0 0-4:00 p.m. Hartranft Pool, 8^th & Cumberland Streets, 215-685-2468-A lifeguard course began May 7th. Classes will be held Mondays & Thursdays 6-9:30 p.m. Lifeguard remedial classes will be held Wednesdays & Fridays from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in preparation for the Samuels Lifeguard Course which will be held in June. Samuel Pool, 2501 E. Tioga Street-A lifeguard course will begin June 18^th. The course will be held Monday-Sunday 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Attendance is mandatory. Remedial work will not be offered for this course. For more information, please call 215-685-9099. Anyone interested must pre-register by calling prior to the start of a class. There must be a minimum of five (5) qualified students enrolled to conduct a Lifeguard Training course. Lifeguard Training book ($25) and CPR mask ($10) must be paid for in advance.
