100 Events Planned in 23 Neighborhood Parks

Music, movies, flea markets and craft fairs are just a few of the more than 100 free events to be offered through this year's Summer in the Neighborhood Series sponsored by the Department of Recreation, The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's Philadelphia Green program and PNC Bank.

Dog days in the park and teen-focused events like Youth Expo and Teen Dance Night will provide neighbors with a chance to celebrate the revitalization of the more than 100 parks throughout Philadelphia thanks to funding from the William Penn Foundation and local fundraising efforts.
