The Recreation Department is divided into nine Recreation Districts. The following pages list the facilities according to the district they are in.
The districts were redrawn in the summer of 2007.

District 1: General Area: Far Northeast Philadelphia, North of the Roosevelt Boulevard
District 2: General Area: Far Northeast Philadelphia, South of the Boulevard
District 3: General Area: Hunting Park, Olney and parts of Germantown and North Philadelphia
District 4: General Area: Northwest Philadelphia including Manayunk, Roxborough, Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy and Germantown.
District 5: General Area: North Philadelphia
above Market Street, East of the Schuylkill River, South of Hunting Park Ave and West of 9th Street.
District 6: General Area: Lower Northeast including Northern Liberties, Fishtown and parts of North Philadelphia
District 7: General Area: South Philadelphia
District 8: General Area: West Philadelphia
District 9: General Area: Southwest Philadelphia
