The Department of Records' City Archives, is the repository of historical City of Philadelphia records.  

 

WE ARE SEEKING VOLUNTEERS TO:

    • Greet visitors to the Archives.
    • Answer frequently asked questions from the public.
    • Assist visitors with document searches.

FOR THE SERIOUS HISTORIANS, WE OFFER:

      An environment in which you can work to service visitors interested in rare historical collections; prepare finding aides and collection descriptions, etc.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Friendly and courteous manner
    • Neat appearance
    • Desire to work with the public
