Who Can Apply
Any individual or organization with plans to improve an RDA owned property may apply to purchase a property at fair market price. Successful applicants are able to demonstrate and provide the following:
  1. Eligible re-use proposal and plans that are compatible with city code requirements and ordinances.
  2. Development experience and/or capability.
  3. Financial ability to acquire the property at fair market sale price and to complete work associated with developing the property. Generally, standard development budgets will include:
    • architectural drawings or rehabilitation work specifications
    • appraisal, settlement and insurance costs
    • the cost of completing the rehabilitation or new construction
The majority of RDA properties are sold through the General Properties Sales process. However, certain properties, due to their location and sales value, will be sold through the Featured Properties and Broker Sales process or through an official Request for Proposals.
