Graffiti

How much does this graffiti removal service cost?

Graffiti removal by GAT is free.

How long will it take GAT to remove graffiti from my property?

Normally graffiti is removed 4-5 business days from the time it is reported. However, adverse weather conditions such as rain, ice or snow may cause delays in graffiti removal.

What are the main graffiti removal methods used by GAT?

Powerwashing is used if the graffiti is on a natural brick, stone or metal surface (i.e. unpainted). Painting is the method used by GAT if the tagged surface has already been painted.

Does GAT operate year round?

Yes.

My property has been vandalized with graffiti. Should I report it to the police?

Yes. Graffiti vandalism is a crime and should be reported to your local police district.

How can I be more proactive in protecting my home and neighborhood from graffiti vandalism?

As soon as graffiti appears in your neighborhood have it removed. You can report graffiti on our online form or you can call 311 to speak with an operator. Graffiti that remains visible for a long period of time encourages graffiti vandals to deface more property in that area. Also try installing motion sensor lighting on your property to discourage graffiti vandalism.

Community Partnership Program

What are your hours of operation?

Wednesday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

How soon before the clean up should I submit my application for supplies?

CPP should receive the application no later than one week prior to the clean up.

How does the bagged trash pick up operation work?

If you are requesting trash pick up by the City, please indicate on the CPP form where your bagged trash pick up site(s) will be once the clean up is over. Based on the information provided, CPP will coordinate with City crews where to pick up the trash. Please note that City crews responsible for collecting this trash operate from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Place bagged trash on the nearest corner to the clean up site(s). Do not over fill the bags with debris because they can break open.

What happens if I lose any tools loaned to me?

The responsible party must replace the tools that were lost. No cash, checks or money orders are accepted.
