Holmesburg Tree Tenders Project, November 18, 2011

The City Of Philadelphia Community Life Improvement Program ( C.L.I.P ) works together with community based groups and the Philadelphia Horticulture Society's Tree Tenders Program by lending a hand with the pickup and distribution of bareroot trees that are planted throughout the neighborhoods of Holmesburg and Tacony. The tree plantings are an annual event and take place each spring and fall. Residents who are interested in having a street tree planted on their block should contact the Philadelphia Horticulture Society for the phone number and contact information of the Tree Tenders group in their area.
