Community Partnership Program (CPP)

The Community Partnership Program (CPP) loans out tools and supplies to volunteers in community groups, schools, businesses, and residents engaged in cleaning and maintaining their neighborhoods.  The program is designed to provide these tools quickly and efficiently to volunteers.  CPP can also help coordinate the bagged trash pick up after the clean up is completed.  Past projects have included clean ups in vacant lots, alleyways, parks, recreation centers, playgrounds, and residential blocks.  Since 2008, over 46,000 pieces of equipment have been loaned out to community groups through this program.

American St., 19140 (Enter on Luzerne St.).  Next, CPP will coordinate the trash pick up if requested on the CPP form.  Supply pick up times are Wednesday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

    C. EQUIPMENT PICK UP: On the day of the pick up, please arrive on time and make sure your vehicle has enough room for the supplies. A valid ID with address along with your completed CPP form must be presented before the tools can be issued.

    D. CLEAN UP DAY: After the clean up is over, place bagged trash on the nearest corner to the clean up site(s). Do not overfill trash bags with debris because they may break open. Please note that City crews responsible for collecting this trash operate from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

    E. EQUIPMENT RETURN: CPP is a loan only program. Participants in this program do not keep the equipment. All equipment must be returned no later than the following Wednesday after the pick up date.  Supply drop off times are Wednesday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

If you need additional time to return the tools, you must request that on the CPP form. This is a weekly program and if you are holding onto tools, you must resubmit an updated CPP form so that others may use the equipment.
