The program is responsible for the City of Philadelphia's public art collection and is the centralized agency for all public art-related responsibilities including the selection, commissioning, conservation, maintenance, and day-to-day management of the public art collection. The Public Art Program also serves as a liaison to facilitate communication between artists, design professionals, City departments, and the public.
