Left to right: Warden William Lawton, Father Gregory Cozzubbo (Director of Chaplaincy Services), Rev. Linward Crowe, Deputy Commissioner Reginald Hammond, and Volunteer Services Director Loida Moreno. Rev. Crowe is a representative of The Navigators, an international mentoring and discipleship organization, and volunteers weekly at Curran Fromhold Correctional Facility with the Impacting Your World Ministries. He has also been active in the Kingdom Care Re-entry Network, and in many city-wide efforts to improve the success of ex-offenders upon their return to our communities.

Mayor Michael Nutter joins Prison's Commissioner Louis Giorla, Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey and Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers along with the Prisons Deputy Commissioners: Robert Tomaszewski, Reginald Hammond and Rodney Brockenbrough in attending the press conference for the Badges of Honor 5K Run.

On Saturday June 6, 2009 at the sports complex in South Philadelphia over 75 of the Prisons finest ran, walked in support of the BADGES OF HONOR fund raising event. Nearly every discipline was represented, Inmate Services, Behavioral Health, and every custody rank showed up making some noise and standing tall for a good cause. Although the Police Department took the trophy we intend to smoke 'em next year so start training now! Thank you so much to everyone who attended. Special Thanks to Bob Eskind and Joy Yoshida for coordinating the event!!!!!
