Entries chiefly for criminal cases (which are not always those of same court term as listed in Dockets above) list defendant, charge, plea, verdict, sentence; listings of jurors and witnesses for each case much less frequent than in Docket series; also added, at much greater length than in that series, are road case entries and notations concerning hung juries, forfeited bails, admissions of attorneys to practice before court, appointments of court officers, many journal listings concerning court sittings and adjournment; term headings include lists of grand jurors and judges sitting normally missing in Docket series.
