Includes master files of citizens' complaints consisting of letters of complaint, inter-departmental communications concerning them and answers; complaint and service memos, which include the name and address of the complainant, nature of complaint, identification of City department and official to which complaint was referred, indication of action taken and reply, complaint logs which include similar information and a breakdown of complaints by department and subject; and interdepartmental memos, replies to complainants and lists of questions and complaints arising from questions submitted to the "Tell It To The Mayor" television show, 1965. Files 19761979 include service memorandum worksheets and service memorandums filed at the City's Helpmobile; files for 1981 include citizens' correspondence with the Mayor concerning the 1981 School crisis and the Mayor's replies. Files 1986 include some material relating the "sinking homes" at Logan.
