Agency Function
- This office coordinates, monitors, and evaluates substance (drug and alcohol) abuse prevention services delivered in Philadelphia. Services are contracted for through private, nonprofit organizations, mental health centers; and the federal, state, and city government. The services cover education, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. Specific programs include the Alcohol Safe Driving Program; Employment Development; Drug & Alcohol Behavioral Research Analysis; and the City Employees' Counseling Unit.
