Interested in becoming a Reading Coach?  Join PHILADELPHIA READS at our next training session.  Each session is designed to give community volunteers the skills they need to help Philadelphia children read well. 

The next available trainings for those interested in volunteering during the 2006-2007 school year, will be held on:

  • Saturday, February 10th
  • Tuesday, February 13th

All sessions take place in the Municipal Services Building, 1401 JFK Blvd., on the 16th floor. Call (215) 851-1748 to reserve a spot.

 

It is strongly encouraged that you fill out and mail your criminal clearance and child abuse clearance forms before attending the training sessions.  This will ensure your ability to start volunteering promptly after training.
