§9-1108. Enforcement. [674]
(1) In the event the Respondent refuses or fails to comply with any
order of the Commission or violates any of the provisions of this Chapter, the
Commission shall certify the case and the entire record of its proceedings to
the Law Department, which may certify the case and record to an appropriate
court and seek enforcement or compliance with the order of the Commission. If an
appeal has been taken by Respondent, the Law Department may move to consolidate
the appeal and enforcement proceedings.
(2) In addition to the remedies
provided in § 9-1108(1), the Law Department is authorized in an appropriate
action to seek imposition by the appropriate court of the penalties set forth in
Section 9-1109.
