SIGN FABRICATOR


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is sign fabrication work at the full performance level. Work includes painting from silk screens, stencils and computer-automated equipment in the fabrication of printed sign material. Employees have responsibility for completing assigned sign-making tasks. Work involves light physical effort and is performed under the direction of a trades supervisor.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
(The following statement represents the minimum training and experience standards which will be used to admit or reject applicants for tests. Applications submitted by candidates for this class will be reviewed based on training and experience requirements as approved on 1/95.)

NOTE:

Training in a post high school approved graphic arts curriculum encompassing course work in fabrication of signage which may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the experience requirement above.
