BUILDING MAINTENANCE GROUP LEADER


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is supervisory building maintenance work planning, assigning and coordinating the activities of a group of skilled trades workers engaged in the maintenance and repair of building physical structures, equipment and system components . Employees in this class supervise workers in various building trades categories and/or those utilizing several building trades skills in performance of their tasks. Significant to the work is the responsibility for ensuring the proper, efficient and expeditious completion of subordinates' work assignments.

Work involves some disagreeable aspects and moderate physical effort.
