GENERAL DEFINITION

This is administrative code enforcement work at the full performance level within the City's overall licensing and inspection program. Employees in this class are responsible for supervising primary functional areas within a major section or serving as the across-the-board assistant to a major section head. Supervising the activities of an administrative and/or technical staff as well as providing technical and procedural guidance to contractors, business representatives, departmental officials and the public are significant aspects of the work. Work is performed under the supervision of an administrative superior.
