GENERAL DEFINITION

This is civil engineering work at the full performance level performing a variety of difficult engineering assignments with emphasis placed upon the application of broad knowledge of engineering mathematics, principles and practices in all phases of minor, or specific phases of major engineering projects. Employees may serve as project leaders on specific assignments.

Employees in this class work with engineers, contractors and others to complete assigned engineering projects. Work is performed under the general supervision of an engineering superior.
