AIRPORT PROPERTIES SPECIALIST I


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is airport property management work of limited scope and difficulty conducting research, analysis, and surveys to facilitate the preparation of leases, contracts and specifications for the rental of property and the award of concessions at the City's airport facilities. Employees in this class prepare documents required for the renewal of existing agreements and assist higher level airport properties specialists in negotiating and processing new leases and contracts. Assignments expand in complexity as employees progress toward the full performance level. Contact with airport tenants and concessionaires is a significant aspect of the work. Work is performed under the supervision of the Airport Properties Manager.

ALLOCATING FACTORS:

  1. Employees in this class must work in the Airport Properties Unit of the Division of Aviation.
  2. Employees in this class must conduct research, analysis and surveys related to the preparation of leases, contracts and specifications.
