TITLE REGISTRATION TECHNICIAN


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is advanced level technical title registration work. An employee in this class reviews and compares complex property conveyance documents with existing property maps to determine acceptability for recording. Employees in this class utilize geographic information system software and hardware to review, construct, and revise property maps. Employees in this class work as a lead worker and provide technical guidance to lower level employees performing title registration work. Work is performed under the direction of an administrative superior.

ALLOCATING FACTORS: (The following conditions must be met for a position to be approved for this class.)

  1. Employees in this class perform technical title registration work at the advanced level.
  2. Employees in this class utilize geographic information system software and hardware to review, construct, and revise property maps.
  3. The positions in this class must be located in the Records Department.
