CONTINUOUS SELECTION:
Interested candidates may apply in person during business hours, 8:30 AM to 5 PM except Saturdays and Sundays or by mail until further notice. Examinations will be rated in chronological order, and successful candidates will be placed on a consolidated list in the order of their final rating. They will be certified to position vacancies in the order of their standing on the eligible list at the time of certification.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Presently employed by the City of Philadelphia with permanent Civil Service status an Electrical Engineer 1 and a Performance Rating of Satisfactory or higher;

   and

2. Completion of a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university with major course work in electrical engineering;

   and

3. Two years of electrical engineering experience;

   or

4. Permanent status in the proper class and any equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience that has included the completion of a bachelor's degree program in an acceptable area of engineering as an educational minimum.
