ReStore Philadelphia Corridors: Corridor Equipment Grant
The Corridor Equipment Grant provides funding for organizations to purchase necessary equipment as part of a comprehensive commercial corridor cleaning or security program. Applicants must be a non profit agency, such as a community development corporation or business association, and there must be a comprehensive plan for operating a cleaning or security program on a neighborhood commercial corridor where a corridor revitalization strategy or a community plan is in place or under development. Applications must be submitted to NTI and will be accepted on a rolling basis through 2009.

ReStore Philadelphia Corridors: Commercial Fit-Out Rebate
The Commercial Fit-Out Rebate assists with the capital costs of fitting out and equipping interior spaces for new retail uses consistent with the strategy of the neighborhood commercial corridor. Sites must be located on or within one block of a neighborhood commercial corridor where a corridor revitalization strategy or a community plan is in place or under development. Applications must be submitted to NTI and will be accepted on a rolling basis through 2009.

ReStore Philadelphia Corridors: Corridor Beautification Project Grant
The Corridor Beautification Project Grants provide funding for minor improvements, such as pedestrian furniture, street signs and banners, trees and planters, and public art, as part of a comprehensive commercial corridor improvement program. Applicants must be a non profit agency, such as a community development corporation or business association. Beautification Project Sites must be located on and/or within one block of a neighborhood commercial corridor where a corridor revitalization strategy or a community plan is in place or under development. Applications must be submitted to NTI and will be accepted on a rolling basis through 2009.

ReStore Philadelphia Corridors: Targeted Redevelopment Grants
The Targeted Redevelopment Grants reimburse up to 20% of pre-development and development activities for commercial, institutional, mixed-use, and cultural facilities that will draw people to the neighborhood commercial corridor. Sites must be located on or within one block of a neighborhood commercial corridor where a corridor revitalization strategy or a community plan is in place or under development. Applications must demonstrate that proposed redevelopment projects are consistent with that strategy. Funds must be used for new construction or substantial rehabilitation. Applications must be submitted to NTI and will be accepted on a rolling basis through 2009.

Request for Expressions of Interest: Streetscapes Projects
This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFI) provides information to community-based organizations, business associations and other non-profit organizations located on commercial corridors to enable them to prepare and submit expressions of interest for streetscape enhancements on neighborhood commercial corridors. The City of Philadelphia’s Neighborhood Transformation Initiative (NTI) will consider proposals including, but not limited to: street and pedestrian lighting; underground utility placement; street paving and striping; public signage and wayfinding; sidewalks; curbs; crosswalks and curb cuts; bump-outs; greening and trees; pedestrian "furniture" (benches, bike racks, etc.); public art; planning; design; architecture; and engineering studies. The City will carry out selected projects using proceeds from the Cultural and Commercial Corridor Bond.
