Fatherhood Initiative

The Fatherhood Initiative Program's (FIP) mission is to strengthen the relationship between fathers and their children, as well as reverse the absentee fatherhood trend. Participants attend Fatherhood Training Sessions.  Each session is designed to address issues of fatherhood by: promoting responsible fatherhood and holistic parenting; empowering fathers to assume emotional, moral, spiritual, psychological and financial responsibility for their children; accentuating the psychosocial development of fathers and their children; helping fathers understand the challenges of parenting; increasing fathers' skills in building and maintaining healthy relationships.

The Fatherhood Initiative Program uses skill and character base curriculums, developed by local and national recognized organizations and they are facilitated by certified master trainers and facilitators.  This skill and character-based structure educates and supports fathers by incorporating open-discussion formats of various topics ranging from anger and self-confidence to healthy relationships and culture.
