Office of the Commissioner:  Robert D. Solvibile, Sr.
Provides leadership and policy direction for all Department programs and operations. Insures the fair and effective administration and enforcement of the policies and regulation enacted to protect the life, health and safety of all citizens. The Office of the Commissioner directs Public Relations units. In addition to this unit, the Commissioner has three Deputy Commissioners and a Chief Code Official responsible for the major divisions of the department.

Public Relations
Departmental Spokesperson: Gayle D. Johns
Coordinates the Department's contact with the press and other media outlets. Functions as the liaison with the Office of City Representative.

Neighborhood and Construction Services Division:
Deputy Commissioner Eileen Evans.
Responsible for license and permit generation, departmental customer service, permit inspection and property abatement..

Business and Residential Regulatory Services Division:
Deputy Commissioner Dominic J. Verdi
Responsible for inspecting residential and commercial area for code compliance and legal representation for the department.

Administrative & Information Technology Services Division:
Deputy Commissioner Fran Burns
Responsible for the administrative support for department,  departmental automation, computer hardware maintenance,  software support and web site management
